Phone lines for Junior KBC opens on March 23

Come May and the dream of kids to participate in the Kaun Banega Crorepati will be fulfilled. Phone lines for the first set of episodes opens on Friday, March 23 and will be on till Monday, March 26. Kids between 10 and 17 years of age would be eligible to enter the game show.

The idea to introduce the Junior KBC came as a result of millions of requests of children around the country. The channel plans to set up a trust, as children below 18 years of age cannot access such huge prize monies. While the kids can access the prize money only after they turn 18, the interest on the prize money can be accessed before that age. Besides, other prizes like computers, bikes would also be given.
