National Geographic to air Robert Ballard retrospective

The National Geographic Channel will present a week long special television event called ‘Ballard: Detective of the Deep’ from August 20.

The event will celebrate the extraordinary life of Dr Rober Ballard, National Geographic’s explorer-in-residence, through profiles of his greatest discoveries.

The programmes in the series will include Secrets of the Titanic, Search for the Battleship Bismarck, Treasures of the Deep, The Battle of Midway and Pearl Harbor: Legacy of Attack.
