ModiCorp forms strategic alliance with Star Hub

ModiCorp, the joint venture telecom company of Modi Holdings and Singapore Technologies Telemedia (STT), has forged a strategic alliance with Singapore-based Star Hub to foray into national and international long-distance operations.

Star Hub would enable ModiCorp to optimise its network for cellular services, ModiCorp would leverage Star Hub’s international presence to offer ILDO services in India and Nepal. To fund its extensive plans in the telecom sector, the BK Modi-promoted company is open to diluting its 68.5 per cent stake to 51 per cent. The other shareholders are NTT (20 per cent) and the employees (11.5 per cent).
