Mid-Day plans to expand its outdoor advertising to other cities

Mid-Day Multimedia Limited (MML) is looking at expanding its outdoor advertising business to other cities. To begin with, the company has identified Chennai for beginning its operations.

MML had acquired a small-sized outdoor media company, SS International, in Chennai. The company is expecting the outdoor revenue to grow significantly. The company currently garners 30 per cent of its revenues from the outdoor advertising business.

One of the chief reasons for the company to lay more focus on the outdoor model is the fact that it has reduced the company’s dependence on the print business.
