Market Search tie-up with two UK research firms

Market Search India Private Limited (MS), has tied-up with UK-based market research agencies—RMS plc and Cadagon plc. RMS is eyeing the organised retailing sector, Cadagon will venture into the travel and tourism sector research in the country.

According industry sources, RMS, a specialist agency in organised retailing, has already made its entry into India, and perceives a tremendous potential for the retail sector in the country.

According to industry analysts, the current techniques in consumer behaviour research in the country do not provide the best results in this new retail environment and RMS, in association with Market Search, hopes to fill this void by bringing the latest techniques in retail research into India.

Cadagon plc, the Europe’s largest travel, tourism and infrastructure services research group is venturing into another potential sector—travel and tourism sector in India.

Market Search has offices in 10 centres across India and one in Sharjah (UAE). The company undertakes market research activities such as usage and attitude studies, market mapping, concept tests, product test, brand name test, packaging test, communication development research, ad test - pre-campaign, brand tracking, and promotional effectiveness studies.

Market Search focusses on few select industries, such as food and drinks, construction and petroleum products.
