Goutam Rakshit takes over as Chairman of Asian ad body

Mr Goutam Rakshit, representing the Advertising Council of India (ACI), took over as Chairman of the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA) at its12th General Body Meeting held recently in Taipei. AFAA is an umbrella body of all advertising associations in the Asian region.

In a related development, Mr Pradeep Guha, who led the Indian delegation to the AdAsia 2001 in Taipei, and is Chairman of the AdAsia 2003 organising committee, showcased Jaipur, the venue of AdAsia 2003, at a specially organised `India Nite' in Taipei. The international audience was treated to a cultural, musical and gastronomic experience.

The 42-member strong Indian delegation included leading members of the Indian advertising and media world.
