etc appoints Multi Media to sell airtime

ETC Networks Ltd. has appointed Mumbai-based Multi Media to market its two channels, ETC and ETC Punjabi, on a commission basis. It was earlier contemplating to hand over the entire ad sales operations to New Age Entertainment. But the plan was dropped.

The idea of having an external outfit to do contractual selling to market the music and regional language channels is to tap those clients that ETC sales team does not reach. ETC does not have a sales head after Sandeep Singh left to join SABe TV. The CEIO Pradeep Dixit looks after the operations.

ETC also plans to market serials in the southern region of the country for Sun TV through New Age Entertainment.
