Decision to ban FTV to be taken on Feb 8

A final decision regarding a ban on the 24-hour fashion channel, FTV will be taken on February 8 after 14 specially recorded tapes are viewed by Members of Parliament on the Parliamentary consultative committee of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.

FTV is the second foreign channel to get into trouble with the I&B Ministry. The first was the Russian channel, TB5, which was banned by former I&B Minister Arun Jaitley.
