BBC World to focus on reality shows

After the success of the reality show Hospital, which was aired as an 13 episode serials, BBC Worldwide is lining up array of reality shows for its Indian viewers.

Director for sales and distribution of BBC World Jeff Hazell said the response from the Hospital show was good and the editorial team is working hard on developing more shows on these lines.

According to Jeff Hazell, there are two kinds of reality shows, one where you record the reality as it is and another where you create a special situation and then let things take their own course. BBC would be keen on dealing with the first kind.
