Balaji Telefilms plans to merge with Nine Networks still on

Indian television content maker Balaji Telefilms still plans to merge with Nine Networks Entertainment India, a unit of Australia's Channel Nine, the company said in a notice to the BSE.

Sanjay Dosi, chief executive officer of Balaji Telefilms, said the merger would not occur for another 3-4 months as shareholder and court approvals were pending. The merger was announced in November.
