Balaji Telefilms, Nine Network to merge

Nine Network Entetainment India and Balaji Telefilms Ltd. approved the merger scheme. Accordingly, a swap ration of 65:200 has been fixed. In other words, Nine Network’s business is valued at Rs 34 crore. Post merger, Balaji Telefilms equity will stand increased to Rs 12.9 crore. The merger move for Balaji Telefilms will enable bringing technical expertise of Channel Nine into India and enhance overall software development. Currently, Balaji does 34 hour of television software development for channels like Doordarshan, Star TV, Sony TV, Zee TV, Sun TV, Gemini TV and Udaya TV.
