AP ropes in ISRO, Measat for DTH foray

Andhra Pradesh has signed up with Malaysian communication giant Measat and ISRO to take advantage of opportunities thrown up by the opening of the DTH. The state government will be leasing KU band communication channel from Measat so as to launch a joint venture with private promoters for commercial DTH operations in the state.
