ZEE TV's 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani' wins accolades at 'Dainik Bhaskar INK Awards 2016'

ZEE TV's period drama ‘EK Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani’ has bagged the ‘Dainik Bhaskar INK Award 2016 - The Ultimate Honour for Excellence in Newspaper Advertising. The innovation for which the show got awarded was the front page ad of Hindustan Times that was an exact recreation of the actual newspaper that had appeared on 27th July 1942, replete with the original masthead.

The show that had promised to #TurnBackTime by recreating the opulence of the 1940s on Indian television was launched amidst a high-decibel, 360-degree marketing campaign with unique innovations across mediums.

INK Awards are the most prestigious awards that anyone in India can win for creativity, innovation, planning and buying in newspaper advertising. It is the only dedicated awards for advertising in this medium and the winners are selected out of best work the country has seen in the past one year by a jury consisting of highly knowledgeable, fair and respected industry professionals.
