Quasar Media has announced the appointment of Ankit Saxena as Social Media Director - West. The move has been taken to strengthen its growing digital and social media portfolio in Mumbai with clients like Colgate Palmolive, Eureka Forbes, JKHC, HDFC Life and several others.
With over five years of experience in online advertising, Saxena joins from Interactive Avenues, where he was responsible for setting up the social media advertising and social media monitoring divisions from scratch. While there, he had delivered successful campaigns for brands like Jet Airways, Toyota, ICICI Prudential, Reliance Life Insurance, FedEx, Kotak, Marriott Hotels and Mahindra Auto. His ‘Boundaries for Books’ campaign for Reliance Life Insurance in association with the NGO Room To Read, won silver at the IDMA 2012 awards in the Best Use of Social Networks - Social Cause category.
