News18 Network's Rising Uttarakhand bring together top leaders to discuss the state's development agenda

News18 network is organising ‘Rising Uttarakhand 2017’ in Dehradun today on June 5, 2017. The Chief Guest for the event will be the Honourable Chief Minister of the State Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat. The main objective of "Rising Uttarakhand" is to provide a platform to top leadership to outline and roadmap the development priorities for the state.

At ‘Rising Uttarakhand’ former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Harish Rawat will also share his views on the state’s current condition and the road ahead especially in the context of the present government’s stated priorities. Shri Prakash Pant, Minister of Finance, Excise and Parliamentary Affairs; Shri Madan Kaushik, Urban Development Minister and Spokesperson of Uttarakhand Government; Shri Yashpal Arya, Transport and Social Welfare Minister and Shri Arvind Pandey, Education, Sports & Panchayati Raj Minister will also engage in a discussion that will outline their vision on how to take the state forward on various fronts.

Agriculture Minister Shri Subodh Uniyal; Women Empowerment and State Minister for Child Development (Independent Charge) Shrimati Rekha Arya; State Minister for Higher Education and Cooperative State Minister (Independent Charge) Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat along with Shri Ajay Tamta, Union Minister of State for Textiles will also be present and partake in discussions on the ideal development model for the state and key government schemes for the holistic progress of the state.  During this mega event in Dehradun, BJP's Media Chief Anil Baluni and Managing Director of Patanjali Ayurveda Acharya Balkrishna will also share their views on how to optimise Uttarakhand’s potential for the state’s betterment .

As stated above, Trivendra Singh Rawat will be the Chief Guest at “Rising Uttarakhand 2017” and will be sharing state government's current and future plans. The CM will especially focus on his priorities and action plan for Uttarakhand's all round development.

According to Rajesh Raina, Group Editor of ETV News Network, “The objective of this initiative is to enable a comprehensive discussion on the development agenda for the state so that the people of the state are well aware of the views of their leaders on key issues and their plans for addressing issues of relevance to the masses.”
