Kundan R. Vyas gets Lokmanya Tilak National Award for Excellence in Journalism

Kundan R. Vyas, Chief Editor of Janmabhoomi Group of Newspapers, has been awarded ‘Lokmanya Tilak National Award for Excellence in Journalism’.

Kesari Mahratta Trust and Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune, have instituted an award in the name of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak for outstanding performance in journalism at national level.

This is the seventh year of the award.  Veer Sanghavi (2009), N. Ram (2010), K.K. Dua (2011), Shravan Garg (2012), Vinod Mehta (2013) and Mammen Mathew (2014) were the previous recipients.

The award was presented on 134th Anniversary of the Kesari on January 4, 2015.  The function was held in the premises of Kesari Mahratta Trust, Pune.
