Jackky Bhagnani presents ‘Battery’, a short film dedicated to mothers

??‘Battery’, a new short film presented by Jackky Bhagnani and produced by Deepshikha Deshmukh, is an ode to mothers and their significance in one’s life.

When asked about the film, writer anddirector Ramchandra Darshan Gaonkar said, “‘Mother’ is the most beautiful word in the world and it is really difficult to explain its beauty in words. This film is a tribute to all those mothers who are the real superheroes.”

Jackky Bhagnani, presenting this film, stated, “My mother has been a great inspiration for me throughout my life, and I know that mothers everywhere are a driving force in their children’s lives. We often don't say it enough, so what better way to say it than through a film. Today, we’re saying thank you for all the love, encouragement and constant support they give us. They will always be our No. 1.”

Deepshikha Deshmukh, the producer of the film who has already made a mark in the past with films like Sarabjit, Madaari and Sarvann, stated, “Words cannot express the gratefulness and love we have for our mothers and for the way they have moulded us. Instead of saying it, we decided to show it because my mother has always been my superhero. She makes me strive harder to be such a mother to my kids. This short film is a dedication to all the super moms out there.”

The poignant video is an expression of a relationship between a mother and her son. It is a story about a boy who is laughed at and teased by all. He is called ‘Battery’ yet he is ‘Maa ki Ankhon ka Tara’.? The crux of the film is that every mother loves her child unconditionally. The world may have opinions about her child but it’s hers that matters the most.
