CNN-IBN presents a 3-hour long Telethon on Road Safety that will provide a platform for viewers to call and raise their concerns apropos of the Road Safety Bill and different measures that the Government intends to take to ensure Road Safety for people.

The discussion will comprise an elite panel of guests including the Delhi Police head, Traffic Police head and Piyush Tiwari from Save India Foundation talking about the need for safety measures on road.

It will be telecast on Wednesday, June 3 from 9am – 12 noon on CNN-IBN & IBN7.

IBN7 will telecast an interaction with Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways. There will be special stories and packages, the dos and don’ts associated with road safety.

This will also mark the 1st death anniversary of Union Minister Gopinath Munde who lost his life in a road accident last year on June3. After the incident, promises were made by the Government regarding Road Safety Bill – the campaign will also do a status check on the same.

This initiative will aim to give its viewers a voice where they can raise their concerns and discuss violation of traffic rules and inadequate punishment due to lack of firm laws.
