Varun Mehta joins BBDO India

Varun spent his early years at Ogilvy and McCann before he moved to JWT and then DDB Mudra.has now joined BBDO India as Sr. Creative Director – Special Projects.

Speaking about this special hire, Josy Paul, Chairman-NCD of BBDO India said, “We were hoping to keep this a trade secret, but everybody knows Varun. He is multi-talented and hugely creative. We can learn from his craft and varied experience, and wield his special skills like a ‘doosra’. We are fortunate to have him at the BBDO Ashram.”

Speaking about his move, Varun Mehta says, “I've wanted to work with Josy since his crazed David days, man, who knew we'd end up in a f*#@^** ashram together. But no seriously, I really think these guys have it going on and now to be part of it, is a special feeling indeed. To find a bunch of intensely creative guys who care about nothing but the work, now that's rare. Opportunities like this don't come around often and I consider myself lucky to be at BBDO Ashram."

Varun will work closely with Ajai, Josy, Raj and Sandipan on day-to-day jobs to create a wider body of great work .
