Vandana Pant joins Delhi Press as GM, Brand Marketing

Vandana Pant has joined Delhi Press as Head of Brand and GM - Brand Marketing. She took charge from December 14, 2010. At Delhi Press, she will be reporting to Anant Nath and Amit Bhatia. Prior to this, Pant was with Amar Ujala.

Speaking on her role in the group, Pant said, “This is an entirely new profile in Delhi Press, which has been created for the first time. My role would be to manage all 30 brands.”

On her stint with Amar Ujala, she said, “It was a great learning experience working with Amar Ujala. With the freedom and support we had got in the group, we launched quite a few products in last few years. I would like to continue with the same zeal in Delhi Press as well.”

A graduate from Delhi University, she is a post graduate in Advertising and Public Relations and trained in US in film making. Pant was Head of Brand at Amar Ujala from July 2007 to November 2010. Her role at Amar Ujala involved brand development, develop brand strategy and internal, external communication, strategic consulting – supporting sales and marketing strategy development.
