Microsoft with TOI organises awareness campaign

Microsoft along with The Times of India is organising a 30 day long ‘Win Big with 100% Original’ campaign. The campaign is meant to assist consumers in identifying the benefits of using 100 per cent original Windows7 which comes with the advantage of Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) a completely free Anti-Virus solution for all Windows users.

The program will begin in various IT hubs across India where a cool, life size MSE robot will demonstrate the benefits of using 100 per cent original Windows7 software as well as give away a ton of exciting prizes.

One of the biggest drawbacks of using non-original software is the huge security concerns that various emerging vulnerabilities such as malware, phishing and spyware can cause for consumers. These security threats can cause many serious issues such as loss of data, comprise of privacy and potential financial losses. Keeping these in mind, the original software promises regular software patches and updates thereby leading to peace of mind for the consumer.
