Cure for Bieber Fever

Bangalore, March 29th, 2011: If you are a casualty of the Bieber fever, here’s something that should cheer you up. Radio Indigo and Lee Jeans in association with Air Asia will send a Bangalorean couple to an all expenses paid trip, all the way to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia not only to watch Justin Bieber live in concert at the Merdeka Stadium but also meet with him personally backstage.
The concert is scheduled on the 21st April, 2011 at 8 pm.

This contest has hit the airwaves on the 24th March and will continue till 8th April. To participate, everytime Radio Indigo spins a Justin Bieber song; listeners should call in at 080-25502919. Every 9th caller will be shortlisted for the final round. Radio Indigo’s trend of sending Bangaloreans to international musical concerts and events continues with this latest draw with Justin Bieber.

This concert is one of the most awaited events in the South East Asian region, especially with young adults. Justin Bieber’s biggest selling single Baby has topped charts all over the world, including Bangalore, to become one of the youngest successful singers of all time.

MD of Radio Indigo, Mr Sanjay Prabhu said “We are very focused on Bengaluru as a market and understand the aspirations of a global Bangalorean. Being the only international radio station in the city, we take it upon ourselves to ensure we offer a complete international experience to our listeners. Since we can’t get the likes of Justin Bieber, Lady gaga and Neil Young in India, we send Bangaloreans to international concerts instead. Radio Indigo is delighted to continuously offer the experience of a real international concert closer to our listeners. We will continue to do the same and would encourage Bangaloreans to tune into 91.9 and be a part of the Indigo Experience that could -quite literally-take you places”

Radio Indigo have played the lead to send Bangaloreans to watch concerts like John Mayer and Neil Young in London, Backstreet Boys in Singapore, Lady Gaga in Malaysia, Formula 1 Grand Prix at Monza, Italy. Radio Indigo takes pride in being the only Radio station in the city to have offered international artist experience to Bangaloreans. In a previous promotion a Bangalorean couple had the experience of meeting Lady Gaga personally before the concert which was exclusively presented in India by Radio Indigo.

To add to the experience Radio Indigo exclusively spins syndicated international shows like Ryan Seacrest American Top 40, Aarmin Van Buuren, John Digweed, Alan Kepler’s Smooth Jazz countdown and is in talks with trance god -Ferry Corsten from Holland for a trance countdown show.
