BBC Worldwide Productions India Launches 'Firangi Tadka'

BBC Worldwide Productions India launches ‘Firangi Tadka’, an all new cookery show for celebrated chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s new cookery channel. After producing a host of reality shows based on BBCW’s international hits such as ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ and ‘Wife Bina Life’. ‘Firangi Tadka’ will air daily, from Monday to Thursday, at 2.30pm, beginning this week on the channel Food Food.

‘Firangi Tadka’ is a studio based cooking show that aims to teach viewers how to cook exquisite international recipes from around the world using local cooking solutions. Paris-trained chef Shilarna Vaze, aka Chinu, simplifies foreign food, showing viewers how to cook exotic dishes with everyday ingredients. 65 episodes of the show are ready to be aired.

BBC Worldwide Productions India has mainly focussed on adapting international BBC Worldwide formats in India. This show has been creatively planned and executed by the production house in India, and takes a unique conceptual approach.

BBC Worldwide Productions India is part of BBC Worldwide’s growing local production network that includes other wholly owned bases in Paris, New York and Los Angeles and partners in Toronto, Cologne, Sydney, Buenos Aires, Moscow and Sao Paulo.
