Alchemist appoints Samta Thakker as Associate Managing Consultant, Mumbai

Alchemist Marketing & Talent Solutions has appointed Samta Thakker as Associate Marketing Consultant to focus on and expand its experiential marketing, AOR and intellectual properties business and thus contribute towards growing its overall portfolio. She would be reporting to the management and mentored by the Chief Product Officer at Alchemist, Shakun Singh. Alchemist Marketing Solutions is a 360-degree marketing firm that believes in providing through-the-line solutions to brands.

Thakker comes with seven plus years of experience in media industry, and has previously been part of organisations such as Shobiz Experiential Communications and Amagi Media Labs. Before joining Alchemist she spent three years working on her own events and an IP venture. To her credit is THE GLAMOROUS KIDS SHOW which had association from brands like Marks & Spencer, Max, Sketchers, Being Human, Govardhan, etc.

Speaking on her appointment, Manish Porwal, MD of Alchemist, said, “Alchemist is growing each year in the domain of experiential marketing and IP creation. We have launched over four IPs of our own and have created many more for our clients. Samta’s appointment is a strategic move towards this goal. She comes with a very strong understanding and background of the industry and has been an entrepreneur herself, which adds to her ability to look at the left brain side of the business. Having spread our wings in music (Anoushka Shankar Projects), theatre (Delhi Theatre Festival), education (Rendezvous), Entertainment (CelebScore), and many more through our partner Beep Experiential Marketing, we are hoping Samta would be instrumental in magnifying the existing IPs and launch new initiatives.”
