ToI wins big at ABBYs in publisher category

It won two golds for ‘#NoConditionsApply: Shindoor Khela’ and one for ‘Times Power of Print’

The Times of India Group bagged three of the seven Gold Abbys awarded in the publisher category at the star-studded awards show night at Goafest 2018. It won two golds for ‘#NoConditionsApply: Shindoor Khela’ and one for ‘Times Power of Print’.

While the former won gold in the best promotion of a CSR or cause-related marketing initiative in traditional or online space by a publisher, ‘Times Power of Print’ bagged gold for the best client-brand activation or display advertising innovation by a publisher.

Power of Print, an initiative by The Times Group was conceptualised and executed by Response Solutions. With multiple initiatives planned under POP, the Times Group's intention was to rekindle the romance with Print and to remind audiences that Print advertising can be sexy too and it offers immense opportunities to innovate and engage with consumers.

The first edition of POP saw 417 agencies participating with 823 high quality entries. It was an unprecedented response to a an initiative designed to invite compelling print campaigns and the first year was for a noble cause like #EducateTheGirlChild, in partnership with Nestle India.
