Stream Asia collaborates with Stream India to curate a special edition

The event will encourage talks on topics never heard before, break barriers to make conversations simpler among other things

WPP STREAM is set to create yet another unique blend of informative, tectonic and extravagant un-conference, termed un-conference because it’s all about unconventional, unstructured, unscripted and unpredictable meeting of people, minds, and ideas. This year, it’s bigger than ever as Stream Asia and India join forces to bring experiences that are truly inspiring, diversified and fun.



Hosted by WPP Chief Digital Officer, Scott Spirit and WPP Country Manager, India, Ranjan Kapur, the three-day event starting February 28, 2018 at Fairmont Hotel, Rajasthan, India; will encourage talks on topics never heard before, break barriers to make conversations simpler and crack the code by bringing in industry honchos across Asia to spark conversations around technology, trends, culture shifts, to name a few.



Crowd-sourcing determines the content of each event, which begins with an empty whiteboard to be filled by attendees with ideas for discussions. So, with no pre-set agenda, the schedule is up to each and every one present to participate and contribute.



Each day, there are discussions on myriad topics that attendees can choose to participate in based on their interests and passion. Some of the popular platforms at WPP Stream are ‘The Luminary Talks’, Ignite Talk for fast talkers, Cooking Madness for those who believe cooking is therapeutic, Health & Wellness for those young at heart, The Workshop for the craftsmen of the group and with the collaboration there is much more one could expect.



At Stream Asia, with over 300 great minds expected to join this year from various parts of the Asia Pacific region, one can expect interesting conversations, debates on subjects unheard of to interesting insights from masters across the world of technology, brands and marketing and media fraternity. True to the Unconference model, there will be no formal lectures but innumerable sessions on any topics that you wish to hear on.



Talking about Stream Asia, Scott Spirit, Chief Digital Officer, WPP said, “Stream is a real-life example of horizontality with over 300 people from WPP, our clients and partners discussing and setting their digital agendas. As one guest said to me, ‘Stream is not a conference, it has become a movement’.”

WPP Stream is a unique thought leadership initiative designed by WPP group to bring together the industry leaders on a single interactive platform. It will see the coming together of CEOS from across the WPP network, WPP clients and partners from across the industry, including Silicon Valley start-ups, VCs, social entrepreneurs, publishers, academics and media companies.
