Saral Jeevan to present farmer awards on Nov 25

Kannada infotainment channel Saral Jeevan is all set to present farmer awards, Mannina Maga (Son of the Soil), for some of the most inspiring farmers. The 30-day campaign, which started with the unveiling of a farmers’ anthem, followed by inviting the public to nominate farmers, and panel of jury identifying the top few from hundreds of entries, comes to an end this Sunday with shortlisted formers from across Karnataka coming together for the awards ceremony.
Saral Jeevan’s programme for farmers on the same name is very popular for over two years and won many accolades. The awards are an extension of the programme. Sponsored by Sri Datri Developers & Promoters, Mannina Maga Awards, will take place in presence of key ministers from Karnataka government and agriculture scientists. The winners would be felicitated with memento & cash prize. Special telecast of the awards ceremony and few performances that are designed around the spirit of farmers is scheduled for 2nd December on Saral Jeevan.
