Twitter’s Jinen Kamdar moves to Buzzfeed

Twitter’s Jinen Kamdar has announced on the social media platform that he will be moving to Buzzfeed as VP Product.
 


Kamdar was part of Twitter for seven years, where he served as Director Product.

Speaking about Buzzfeed, Kamdar tweeted: buzzfeed is a shining example of a media co that embraces the internet, mobile, and social to reach & connect with people in brand new ways.
 


According to media reports, Kamdar, who’s based in San Francisco, will be splitting his time between BuzzFeed’s New York, Los Angeles and (to a lesser extent) SF offices. He will be reporting to Publisher Dao Nguyen and replacing Chris Johanesen as VP of Product.
