Prior to Hotstar, Verma was working with Times Internet, the digital network of media company BCCL as CRO where he was responsible for all revenues from Times Internet Limited across Content/Media, Transaction and Classifieds businesses. In addition he was responsible for Business Development and strategic partnerships with Times Internet Limited.
He was earlier at Outbrain where he overlooked India and South East Asia operations. He has also had stints at Komli Media, besides working with several companies including Yahoo!, EY, McKinsey and Associated Press.
Verma, an LSE alumnus, has also studied at the Indian School of Business and Kellogg School of Management
