Schwarzkopf Professional India hands over Digital mandate to Quasar

Schwarzkopf Professional, one of the top three global brands in the professional hair products, has awarded its digital mandate to Quasar in India. The multi-agency pitch saw participation from other leading agencies.

The mandate will cover digital creative services, media planning/buying and content development.

Speaking on the new appointment, Kartik Kaushik, General Manager, Henkel Beauty Care, India, said, “Quasar was awarded the business, given their deep insight of the digital space, and the willingness to align with our Henkel values of putting the customer and consumer first. Given that the India Salon Professional Market remains a big focus for Henkel in India, and digital play being a priority, Quasar presented us with a good strategy, leveraging all key aspects of the digital ecosystem.”

Saugata Bagchi, Business Head – Quasar, said, “Schwarzkopf Professional India is a future ready organization and is rightly poised to make the best of the new digital mantras of influencer  and content marketing, with their forward-thinking approach, and willingness to experiment with new-age formats. We are very excited with this win and look forward to doing some disruptive work in the category.”

Schwarzkopf Professional is present in the key categories like hair color, care, form (rebonding), and styling. This is led through a rich portfolio consisting of renowned professional bands like IGORA, Essensity, OSiS+ and Bonacure, under its umbrella. In India, these brands are part of Henkel Beauty Care.
