Rega Jha, has stepped down as Editor-in- Chief at Buzzfeed India. Active on social media, she has announced her resignation on Twitter on 11th June. Nirali Shah, Senior Editor at Buzzfeed is expected to fill the position.
Jha joined Buzzfeed in 2013 as a writer, after which she moved to India to set up and expand the online media companyâs reach in the region.
She has always been outspoken about social issues, those relating to feminism, mental health, body positivity and politics in India.
