Rediff.com introduces web hosting solutions for young entrepreneurs

Rediff.com India Limited, the leading online provider of news, information, communication, entertainment and shopping services, has launched web hosting solutions for young entrepreneurs that offers opportunity for business growth over the Internet in a cost-efficient manner.

Rediff web hosting is an integrated platform comprising of personalised domain names, business e-mail solutions and web hosting services with advanced online features. The service offers a range of online solutions on a reliable platform to over three million small and medium enterprises in India. The company allows these entrepreneurs to create and manage their website in simple, cost-efficient packages, according to their business needs.

Additionally, the company provides advertising space on its website through 'Rediff pay4clicks' ad service to promote individual websites hosted on the Rediff web hosting platform.

Two hosting packages - 'basic' and 'advanced' have been initially launched in addition to a variety of tailor-made combinations. Each of these solutions are competitively priced with single domain registration costing as low as Rs 495 per annum, while the annual basic web hosting service is priced at Rs 2400.

"With the launch of this service, Rediff.com aims to provide a suite of the state-of-the-art web services for these small and medium enterprises, which are backed by the same people and the network that we use for our own Rediff.com site. Effectively, businesses can now have only a small investment in IT and yet enjoy the same expertise that powers Rediff.com," added Balakrishan.
