Red Digital to manage social media duties for World Series Hockey
This winter, Hockey will be on everyone’s mind. World Series Hockey (WSH) is all set to roll from December 17, 2011 to January 22, 2012. Social Media specialist Red Digital has been engaged by WSH to manage their social media presence. After successfully handling the social media presence for many of India’s top brands, such as Mumbai Indians, Adidas Cricket, Godrej and Monginis to name a few, Red Digital has now bagged the responsibility for building a social media presence for WSH.
WSH will see Indian and International players being allocated to multi-city franchise-based teams as per the internationally accepted and practiced draft system wherein they will showcase their talent in 61 scheduled matches with over 200 players participating in the event. The inaugural edition of the league will comprise of eight teams out of Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Pune, Bhopal, Punjab, Ranchi and Rourkela.

Olympic and World Cup Winning Australia team Capitan Brent Livermore and other Champions from Austral-Asian countries like South Korea, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand are set to join WSH. With such a galaxy of hockey stars, the series would be vibrant and competitive.
