Quikr appoints Suriya and Ranveer Singh as brand ambassadors

Quikr announced that South Indian –superstar Suriya, along with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh have been roped in as the official brand ambassadors of the online classifieds platform. With his strong heritage in South Indian cinema, Suriya was chosen by Quikr for his mass appeal across the four South Indian states. Similarly, Singh was selected as he represents the aspirations of modern India.

Commenting on the occasion, Pranay Chulet, Founder and CEO of Quikr said, “Quikr is constantly evolving its platform to meet the changing needs of our users and give them the best possible experience. As the leaders in the online classifieds space, our task is to expand the market, and as a well-established actor, Suriya has built enormous credibility and trust over his illustrious career. On the other hand Ranveer is an innovative, self-made star who stands out from the crowd. These qualities resonate with us and our journey towards market leadership. We believe that their association with Quikr will further increase people’s confidence in online buying and selling in India.”

This move by Quikr is aligned with their new brand positioning of “Aasan hai badalna” which reflects the changing aspirations of the youth in modern India. The actors will be seen in Quikr’s upcoming advertising campaign which will be launched later this month.
