Netizens' outpouring of grief on Pran’s demise keeps social sites busy

Veteran actor Pran Lrishan Sikand passed away on July 12, 2013, leaving behind a strong legacy of films.

The outpouring of grief following Pran’s demise kept social media sites active over the weekend. A scan of social sites presented by LIQVD Asia shows an overwhelming buzz, with over 20,000,000 Twitter impressions, within 12 hours of the veteran actor’s demise. There were over 1,500 tweets as fans of all ages equally mourned the demise of Pran.

Social media was abuzz with tweets by not just fans, but celebrities and even politicians.
