MBD Group launches interactive online academy MBD Alchemie

The MBD Group, a publishing house with over three decades of experience in the field of education, has launched ‘MBD Alchemie’, a new interactive affordable online academy. MBD Alchemie, a pioneer project on online education, will pave the way for mass education through standardised content developed by eminent faculty.

The education portal will teach and test at the same time. To introduce this concept MBD Alchemie will be providing a 15-day free demo on With an initial investment of Rs 20 crore, the portal will provide education at an affordable price of approximately Rs 150 per month per subject.

Commenting on the Group’s latest initiative, Ashok Kumar Malhotra, CMD, MBD Group, said, “MBD Alchemie is set to bring about a revolution in the current distant education. Its unique instructional design makes learning more effective.”

Speaking on the launch, Monica Malhotra Kandhari, Director, MBD Group, said, “MBD Alchemie is poised to redefine online academy experiences by eliminating snags of traditional e-learning platform. The concept behind MBD Alchemie is to provide affordable quality education for successfully competing in various competitive and Board exams. MBD Alchemie brings countries top educationists to students, just a click away.”

In the initial phase, MBD Alchemie is introducing courses for students of classes X and XII of CBSE, AIEEE and AIPMT. In future, it plans to launch new courses on IIT-JEE, state CETs and state boards (X and XII), among others. The portal is highly interactive with distinctive features like personalised coaching, including self paced learning mechanism, self test tool, extensive self-education, online problem solving facility and virtual class rooms.

MBD Alchemie has 14 offices spread over the country – Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bhopal, Patna, Lucknow, Kota, Cochin, Jaipur and Ahmedabad.

For providing the bandwidth for connectivity, MBD Alchemie has tied up with Sify and for convenience in connectivity it has joined hands with Sify I-ways so that a student can study at any Sify I-way café in the country at no cost.
