Maxus named Best Digital and Social Media Agency of the Year at exchange4media’s IDMA 2015

This year’s IDMA nominees have once again tested the boundaries of creativity, innovation and technology in their respective fields.
Following up their nine wins at the IDMA 2014, this year, Maxus India walked away with 11 metals. The agency won two Golds, for Best SEM Strategy in Search and PPC Campaigns category for Vodafone’s India’s ‘Quickest Recharge Unit’ and Best Integrated Media Campaign in the Special Awards Category for Tata Tea’s ‘Power of 49’. Along with the Golds, Maxus won three Silvers, five Bronzes and was selected as Best Digital and Social Media Agency of the Year.
Hindustan Unilever was one of the big winners with three Gold, two Silver and one Bronze metal some of the winning work included Lakme Fashion Week Command Center under the Most Effective Social Listening category(PHD India) Be BEAUTIFUL - Democratizing Beauty for Millions of Women in India under the Best use of Blogs category (Jack in the Box Worldwide) Axe Boat Party under the Best Benchmark Content/Branded Content category (PHD India), Taj Mahal eSitar under the Best Banners - Rich Media with or without video category (PHD India).
Other big winners included Mindshare India who bagged three Gold metals, for Most Effective Use of Digital Analytics in the Social Media category for PepsiCo’s ‘Googly pe Six’ campaign; Best App Developed in the Mobile and Tablets category for Catrol Power1 with ‘Appiness for the Biker by the Biker’ and Best Use of Web Based Games in the Internet category for GlaxoSmithKline. Three Silver metals also went to Mindshare India.
Along with one Silver, Jack in The Box Worldwide also took home three Golds for Best Campaign – Online Advertising for FabAlley; Best Use of Blogs for Hindustan Unilever and Most Effective Social Listening for Britannia Good Day.
Hall Of Fame Awards went to Maxus India which was named Best Digital and Social Media Agency of the Year DBS Bank for Best Digital and Social Media Advertiser; CastrolPower1 for Best Advertiser on Mobile and Neo Ogilvy India for Best Mobile Media Agency of the Year.
Deepinder Goyal, Founder and CEO of Zomato, was presented with the IDMA Person of The Year award.
Judged and selected by a jury of the industry’s stalwarts, the winning entries have been marked based on various criteria of strategy, creativity and innovation, execution and results.
In total, IDMA 2015 were awarded under six categories – Internet, Mobile and Tablets, Social Media, Search and PPC Campaigns, Special Awards and Hall of Fame Awards.
