India TV, Punjab Kesari ink pact with M2W for wireless interactivity

News channel India TV and Punjab Kesari have tied up with mobile marketing and content solutions company Mobile2win (M2W) to garner increased viewership and interaction and thus provide a true and authentic picture of India.

With Punjab Kesari, the Hindi daily in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi, M2W has achieved a feat of sorts by tying up to provide patrons with interactivity. This involves a contest in which Punjab Kesari readers can SMS a coupon number appearing in the paper to win various gifts.

Prizes on offer include Maruti cars, DVD players, microwave ovens and a host of other gifts at a total value of Rs 1 crore. With emerging competition in the newspaper market, Punjab Kesari aims at retaining and building its share with innovative marketing programmes with M2W.

In the case of India TV, M2W is helping them achieve their vision of being the “voice of the common man”, starting with an interactive solution for Aap Ki Adalat, where viewers can solicit various celebrities/ personalities to take the stand.

The opinion poll on India TV has been and continues to be popular with 15 lakh responses generated in a period of two months. All one has to do is SMS India Poll to 8558 and receive the question for the day. Participants can stand to win a Videocon flat screen TV everyday.
