Ignitee bags social media rights for Whirlpool-Goonj ‘Ek Jodi Kapda’ campaign

Ignitee Digital Solutions has bagged the social media campaign for the Whirlpool-Goonj CSR campaign, titled ‘Ek Jodi Kapda’. Ignitee has also designed the website – www.ekjodikapda.com – for this CSR initiative.

Whirlpool has joined hands with Goonj, an acclaimed voluntary organisation, to initiate the ‘Ek Jodi Kapda’ campaign, which encourages people to donate clothes, books, shoes, etc. Veteran actress and social activist Shabana Aazmi is the brand ambassador for the campaign and has lent her support by donating clothes.

Ignitee Digital Solutions is currently using social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and so on to spread awareness about this campaign. The Facebook and Twitter profiles are already live.

Commenting on the initiative, Shantanu Das Gupta, Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Strategy - South Asia, Whirlpool India, said, “Whirlpool is keen to scale the existing campaign and introduce new initiative by spreading awareness in the online space. For this, we have selected Ignitee Digital Solutions and are proud to have them as our trusted online media agency.”

Shankar, COO, Ignitee Digital Solutions Pvt Ltd, said, “With the talents back at Ignitee, we ensure that our clients are well-positioned in the online space, which in turn will add value to their business. I am excited about our association with our clients and our continuous efforts to provide more value to them.”

In an email interaction with exchange4media, Shankar further said, “This is the first initiative where we have sought a complete digital landscape – as in social media, microsite, games and media,”

“We have developed a very unique looking microsite, which has some amazing features, and very soon you will get to see some good creatives,” he added.

When asked how Ignitee proposed to add value to the business,” Shankar replied, “We are market leaders in the digital domain, our understanding of this domain and meeting client expectations are the biggest skill set that we possess today. The value addition will come in form of the creatives and the social media approach that we have taken.”
