exchange4media Group’s Indian Digital Media Awards (IDMA) 2013 were given away at a glitzy event in Mumbai on the evening of June 25, with the who’s who of the digital industry in attendance. Industry stalwarts came together to celebrate, acknowledge and encourage creativity and innovation in the digital space.
A total of 90 metals were given away, which consisted of 27 Gold, 40 Silver and 23 Bronze awards. The jury expressed that they had a tough time in picking out the best work due to the high level of creativity.
Agency of the Year was awarded to ibs, which led the chart with 65 points, taking home 6 Gold and 1 Silver across categories. Following ibs was Interactive Avenues with 48 points and Grey Digital with 45 points.
Client of the Year Award went to MTV, which won 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze. MTV scored 33 points.
Mobilox Innovations was adjudged Best Digital Start-up of the Year. Mobilox bagged 3 Gold and 1 Silver. The agency won for its campaigns for MasterChef applications, Parachute Advansed Ayurvedic Hair Oil and Zee Bangla ‘Missed call’ campaign.
The coveted IDMA Person of the Year award was conferred on VSS Mani, Founder and CEO, Just Dial. In a sea of talent, it was indeed a task to select from among the nominations for this particular award. At the core of the judging element for this category was to see how the person has redefined the Indian digital space.
