Hungama creates virtual cycling carnival

Hungama Game Studio has launched an official online game for the cycling celebration – Godrej Eon Tour de India. Aiming at enhancing engagement, the game will be centered on characters that will be named around famous cyclists such as Caddie Evans, Micky Cavendish and Sachin Amrstrong.

Once users select their favourite cycling avatar, they will be directed to the race page to be able to select the race track across different locations of Mumbai, Delhi and Srinagar.

Dr Akil Khan, CMD, ID Sports said, “Hungama Game Studio will encourage cycling as a sport through its game application. This game will bring alive the childhood memories of cycling in an interactive form and enable users to experience the opportunity to cycle with avatars of famous cyclists.”

The game will offer the players a chance to cycle alongside the best cyclists of the world on their own computer screen. The application will involve features that will help users to pedal, change lanes and collect energy icons to boost energy while cycling.

They can cycle alongside country’s landmarks such as Worli Sea Link and Queens Necklace in Mumbai, to the phenomenally huge F1 track in Delhi and on the beautiful scenic roads of Srinagar, Kashmir. 

Cricketer and supporter of ‘You We Can’, Yuvvraj Singh said, “I have played the Hungama game for Tour de India and it was a pleasant experience to cycle around world renowned cyclists such as Cavendish. This game is a great application to unwind and relive one’s childhood memories on a cycle. People should look forward to having some great time with Tour de India game.”

The Godrej Eon Tour de India races are spread across the cities of Mumbai, Delhi and Srinagar. The cycling carnival will witness a celebrity turn out of over 60 famous personalities that will be seen cycling on the F1 track in Delhi.
Tour de India is supporting the noble cause of empowering the girl child and will direct its fundraising towards the cause.
