Sanjay Trehan has moved on from HT Digital Streams as Business Head- Digital Content & Syndication after almost three years. He is now onboard as the Media Buying & Planning Consultant for Admatazz. He will be looking over the entire Media Planning Operations, Media Growth, Publisher Relations and Media Strategy for Admatazz as a consultant.
Admatazz was founded by entrepreneur Yash Chandiramani. Its clients belong to various industries ranging from Real Estate, FMCG, Education, Automobile, to Personal and Beauty Care. The company will soon open office in UK.
He wrote in a social media post: "Professionally, I am keen to harness my 20+ years (30+ years including advertising) experience in this super exciting space to create disproportionate value for companies that I would consult with. The fast changing, device-agnostic, snacking based content landscape, emerging monetisation models across screens, mobile and social video, the language web, the next generation of internet led by Blockchain, data analytics and machine learning are some areas that fascinate me. My endeavour would be to create a sustainable competitive advantage for companies that I would work for."
As soon as Trehan posted about his new role on LinkedIn, good wishes poured in from friends and co-workers. He is also evoking a lot of interest in the start-up community.
Between May 2009-March 2015, Trehan was at Microsoft India as Head - MSN and MSN Apps India. He was also CEO of NDTV Convergence from March 2007-May 2009.
On the personal front, he says he will be "spending more time in the hills, wish an orchard, publish my second book of poems, build on The Lake Series, read contemporary literature, write more about internet, Netflix and chill, travel and enter into a quiet and reflective domain where wants are limited and an unhurried pace defines the steps we take."
