Gozoop in talks to acquire 56 Blue Lights

Digital creative firm — Gozoop is in talks with UAE based company 56 Blue Lights, an offline activation agency and syndicated content provider, about a likely acquisition. The move has been engineered to realise the synergies of online and offline marketing and provide an enhanced 360° marketing experience to its clients.

Known for its aggressive expansion and global footprint that spans three continents, this could mark Gozoop’s third acquisition since the company’s inception in 2010.  Gozoop acquired Indian digital media firm Red Digital in 2013 and iThink Infotech a technology agency in 2014.

The potential acquisition will enable Gozoop to offer a wider and more consolidated product portfolio, which will now include events, radio and television programming and outdoor advertising. This is a vital diversification as brands are increasingly turning towards marketing strategies that engage consumers at a variety of touch points. Marketing is no longer about advertising alone but is about establishing a constructive dialogue with end users.

56 Blue Lights was co-founded by Yamini Menon in 2013 and has been the name behind memorable content in the UAE such as the Cricket and Beyond ft. Sachin Tendulkar and Wasim Akram, Carrom Premier League, Nityodita Festival of Fine Arts and Musicians United. The firm also brings to the table its roster of clients which includes, Liali Jewellery, Holiday Inn, Lal’s Group, Regal Group, Bank Of Baroda, Noor Oil, Khaleej Times and The Landmark Group.
