DWA opens first India office; appoints Country Manager

Global media agency DWA has officially announced the opening of their first India office. DWA has named media veteran Naveen Singh as Country Manager, who will help manage the existing India accounts and drive growth in India. DWA is the only global media agency servicing clients exclusively in the tech sector.

“We’ve been deeply involved in the India market for the past five years, executing performance marketing campaigns for our international clients on the ground, and so I am thrilled to be able to announce the formal opening of our first office there,” said John Massey, DWA Asia Pacific Managing Director.

He added, “We’re focused on organic growth, and our client base of both international and India-based companies has grown so fast over the last couple of financial years that we now need to invest in a permanent home; our Asia Pacific teams in Sydney and Singapore have done a fantastic job managing our India business to date, but it’s time to recognise the scale and potential of the market by growing our team on the ground.”

As part of this, DWA has hired Naveen Singh as the Country Manager for India. Singh has 16 years of experience in B2B media sales experience, having worked with blue chip publishers such as IDG, Cyber Media and 9.9 Mediaworx.

“I am thrilled to be joining DWA at this crucial time of growth for the agency,” Singh said, adding, “The India market is vibrant, growing and there is a lot of potential here to really prove our pedigree as the media agency of choice for technology companies in the B2B and B2C space.”

The India office is the eighth office that DWA is operating, of which four are in the Asia Pacific region – Sydney, Singapore, Delhi and Auckland.
