Customers save upto 15 crore by using coupons on Diwali across merchant platforms: CouponDunia report

Digital coupon marketplace CouponDunia has released a report based on the consumer shopping behaviour using coupons this Diwali. According to the report, the shoppers who used CouponDunia coupons across merchant platforms saved around 15 crores. The report showcases unique shopping insights gathered from the e-commerce websites/ platforms about how consumers extensively used coupons to save their pocket to a great extent.

According to the infographic, the top five shopping categories were Recharge, Travel, Mobile and Tablets, Food and Dining and Fashion. And the five online platforms that stood out were Flipkart, Paytm, Ola, Amazon and Snapdeal.

Key highlights:

•    Mobile recharge redemptions were the highest

•     75% increase in sign up rates during festive season

•     55% increase in average revenue per user during the festive season

•     420% increase in mobile traffic for select merchants like – Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon
