Criteo appoints Siddharth Dabhade as GM, India

Performance marketing technology company Criteo has appointed Siddharth Dabhade as General Manager India, to lead the growth of the company’s fastest growing market. Dabhade will provide strategic direction and further accelerate the growth of Criteo’s India business, with a portfolio of customers that currently includes Flipkart, Shopclues, ABO, Nykaa, Urban Ladder, MakeMyTrip, Yatra, GoiBibo and other leading e-commerce and online travel companies.

He will be responsible for new business development, and for the expansion of existing advertiser relationships in the India market. He shall advise large ecommerce and online travel firms on how to drive more sales using the predictive engine technology of Criteo. His key focus shall be on building product and partnership strategies and shaping the future of personalised marketing strategies.

Speaking on the occasion, Yvonne Chang, Executive Managing Director, Criteo APAC, said, "With a proven growth record in India, a leading e-commerce market, Siddharth brings more than a decade of experience in the technology industry, “ She further added , "We are very excited to welcome him on board. With his passion and expertise in business expansion he will help us develop and execute a long-term plan to increase adoption of our performance marketing solutions across the country."

Dabhade has an extensive experience in the technology industry and has worked with major technology giants like Google, Microsoft and IBM. Having worked with Google for almost seven years, Dabhade was heading its India travel business and was responsible for building C-level relationships. One of his key achievements was balancing client satisfaction and innovations in the industry. During his stint at the technology conglomerates Microsoft and IBM, he headed business expansion for the southern India region.

“I am delighted to join the Criteo India team and enthusiastic about leading the growing market of e-commerce and online travel, where digital advertising technology and data analytics are becoming vital for brands,” said Dabhade. He added, "I look forward to working with some of the best talents in the industry to take Criteo to its next level of growth in India."

Dushyant Sapre who was leading Criteo India on an interim basis, will fully dedicate himself into a new role as Regional Director, Global Supply & Business Development, APAC. Chang further added, “I want to thank Dushyant for the dedication and strategic advice he gave to Criteo’s new yet equally important market, India. I am confident that Dushyant will be able to achieve commendable results in his new role.”
