Cricketnirvana.com to provide live-streaming of cricket matches

Cricketnirvana.com, a cricket entertainment-based website, is rolling out full coverage, including live streaming and customised video-on-demand packages, for all the matches played during the ‘Biggest Season of Cricket’, which began on September 24.

The season kicks off with the Irani Cup, which got underway from September 24, followed by a four-match Test series between India and Australia starting October 9, and a seven match ODI and two Test match series between India and England, which would go on till the last week of December.

Sumit Luthra, Business Head, New Media, said, “These are really exciting and passion- filled months coming up for Cricketnirvana.com and cricket fans all over the world. The India-Australia series has grown to be bigger than the Ashes and is a ‘must-watch’ for any cricket fan. We are extremely happy to offer 360-degree coverage of this series and ending the season with action packed India-England clash.”

Video on Demand gives users complete freedom to relive their favourite moments from the day’s play, be it fall of wickets, the sixes, fours and half-centuries and centuries, and other key moments. Sports Updates will include a daily dose of live newscast of cricket news from around the world, with a mix of match analysis, expert talk, predictions and updates. The Interview section will include video and audio interviews conducted throughout the series of coaches, captains and players from opposing teams in addition to special stories on support staff, umpires and curators.

Luthra added, “We will soon be unveiling the various combinations of subscription packages and free-to-view content available on the site. In the meanwhile, all the content, including live webcast and video-on-demand related to Irani Cup is available absolutely free to the worldwide audience.”

Another feature is the Enemy Camp, which will observe and report every move from the enemy camp, England and Australia in this case. Be it press conferences, quotes, strategies, mind games or performance on the field, this section will bring insights of the ‘enemy’.

The five sport magazine shows aired on Neo Cricket would also be available on Video Zone, offering the ultimate avenue to access all classic cricket matchers, interviews, interactive talk shows and fun and entertainment from the game of cricket.
