Colors Infinity trends on Twitter with over 8400 mentions

Last month Colors Infinity announced the launch of their property- Infinity-On- Demand, which gives their audience an opportunity to choose 12 handpicked award winning shows for 12 weeks for marathon viewing. It was trending on Twitter on June 28 throughout, with mentions going up to more than 8400 as hashtag #infinityondemand.

The channel interacts with viewers on Twitter providing them an option to choose their favourite shows from amongst three new shows every week for 12 weeks. Between Saturday and Tuesday, viewers get to sample the show and vote for the ones they want to watch on colorsinfinity.com/iod. From June 11, the shows with maximum number of votes were aired back-to-back on Colors Infinity and Colors Infinity HD over the weekend (Sat-Sun), 12 noon onwards. The shows include: ‘Satisfaction’, ‘Art of More’ and ‘American Odyssey.’

In between there was some confusion as few users mistook it for English band One Direction’s number ‘Infinity’, which worked in its favour, and thereby got more mentions.
