Online advertising company Jivox on March 2, 2011, announced a deal with Jagran Group to deliver interactive video advertisements on all the online properties of the Group. The Jivox video ad units add interactive social ads to try and increase user engagement beyond a simple display ad, and offer a lot of possible interactions that never redirect the user away from the ad.
The aim behind this move is to help the Group standardise on a single in-stream video ad platform for optimal ad serving, placement and monetisation, so that the publisher has a uniform method of approaching video content.
“We are very pleased to partner with Jagran, a premier media organisation, to deliver both pre-rolls and video banners on their properties using Jivox Technology. We have successfully run major campaigns for the telecom, BFSI and FMCG market sectors in the past on Jagran properties. The campaigns have delivered high levels of engagement and brand lift and have proven the effectiveness of the Jagran inventory and the Jivox video advertising platform,” said Naren Nachiappan, Managing Director, Jivox India.
“Videos.Jagran.com and Jagran.yahoo.com have a huge reach and the other properties (onlymyhealth.com, Jagranjunction.com, etc.) are seeing an increase in terms of traffic on a daily basis. Jivox is the leading technology platform when it comes to serving interactive video banner ads and pre-rolls with interactions.
