Jabong.com & Puma roll out digital campaign to engage fitness lovers

Jabong.com, in association with Puma, has launched its digital fitness campaign ‘Gear up buddies’ with Puma fitness ambassador Chitrangda Singh. Kicked off in the National Capital, the four-week long campaign will culminate with the announcement of the fourth ‘Buddy’ for Chitrangda.

The campaign will not only have Puma merchandise up on the e-commerce portal for grabs, but will also have other activities to participate in.

Commenting on the initiative, Isaac John, Head of Marketing, Puma India said, “Puma and Jabong.com come together for a path-breaking initiative with ‘Gear Up Buddies’, where fashion-conscious fitness customers can interact with our products in a way that has never been possible before on the digital medium. Shoppers will be able to see Puma products come to life in a new and exciting way, and view a range of different looks as worn in action by our fitness experts.”

Manu Kumar Jain, Co-founder, Jabong.com added here, “We are proud to announce the unique campaign with India’s favourite sports brand Puma and Puma brand ambassador Chitrangda Singh. With this association, we give our customers a once in a lifetime opportunity to work out with a Bollywood star.”

The chain of events will begin on the Jabong.com website with three different fitness regimes – running, zumba and cross fit. The activities will be performed by Chitrangda and her three fitness buddies – Nupur, Sucheta Pal and Shayamal. These rigorous regimes are described in detail through videos posted on the page and participants will get points by shopping the merchandise, sharing details with friends and family, uploading their work-out videos, etc. The contestants will be entitled to points, which will be accumulated on the Puma fitness board (on the page itself) and the ultimate aim would be to be on the top of the fitness board. The winner will get a chance to work out with Chitrangda.

The Gear-Up Buddy website design and concept was created by engagement marketing and digital agency Brandmovers.
